Do not buy LG "smart" devices. I bought a washer/dryer and the "features" it says it has do not even exist. They are not "smart" at all and the linking with alexa/google is a joke. Why would you need to tell the washer to start from your voice? YOU CANT EVEN USE THE WASHER 'SMART' FEATURE TO TRIGGER ALEXA COMMANDS!! I thought it would be able to flash a light, or trigger alexa to talk when the wash is complete etc. It's a complete joke, do not buy these products ever. They don't even link with IFTTT automation programs so it's literally useless. Total marketting gimmick and I've never felt so scammed in my entire life.
