We bought an LG Microwave which died on us two weeks before the 1 year warranty was up. We called that day and after waiting in a queue of 100 calls ahead of us we finally went over everything with the agent and created a case number for a refund since they do not do repairs on microwaves and on that very day we sent all the info and photos needed as requested as well as a receipt for a new microwave via email correspondence. We called back to finalize everything on that very same day and were told they were sending everything off to the higher ups who would then mail a refund in 3-4 weeks if approved. It has now been over 2 months and many phone calls later and still no refund and when we ask to go over everything when they pull up our case number they never answer our yes or no questions directly, but instead just deflect and circle the airport and in the last chat we did online the customer service agent abruptly halted the chat and redirected us to a law agency. We are supposed to have 90 days from the date of reporting the problem to file the paperwork and we did it on day one and they are now stalling and not giving us our refund after we went through all the proper channels and with the item still under warranty. Sadly we have an LG refrigerator, dishwasher and TV too. I never thought I would ever wish for the day to come that we did not have a warranty on our products so that we could pay someone who wasn’t a crook to fix them if necessary. LG runs their customer service and warranty departments like Donald Trump runs the government. It’s pathetic and infuriating. Never again! Bye Bye LG and hello state’s attorney general and the BBB.
