Indiegogo is a platform for scamsters to raise easy money and then vanish. Indiegogo does not have any control to stop all these scams. I funded an e scooter project named Komeet X9 E-Scooter. The owner of the project continued to delay the delivery and now absolutely has gone radio silent with no response to emails. When I complained this to Indiegogo, it was not willing to take any action and gave a standard copy paste reply. Indiegogo's Trust and Safety policy is absolutely worthless. It is just an eye washer. By allowing these scamsters to use its platform, Indiegogo itself has become a big scamsters. It is loosing and will continue to loose the faith of genuine crowd funding investors. I will never invest in Indiegogo and I will recommend my fellow investors to use extreme caution while investing. Read users' comments properly, find out the real geographic location of the projects, not fancy locations like London or California, find the history of the campaign owners - whether it's their first project in Indiegogo or not, do not invest in early bird or super early bird, only when they start shipping then you think of investing. Even if the price increases at a later stage, atleast there will be higher chance of getting the item instead of falling in trap of a scamster. Remember Indiegogo will only lecture you with their typical misguided Trust and Safety policy. They will actually not help you with anything.
