Today I had to get a delivery from IKEA, the driver arrived at my address and went around, making circles, trying to find my address. He didn't call or try to reach me out, I went outside to show him where to park but he just left and didn't deliver any items to me. Then I called customer support and asked if the driver can come back and deliver the items. He spoke to the driver and it wasn't possible so after that I got a booking for delivery on day which doesn't suit me at all. I was transferred to another person in customer support and after a long conversation it turned out that there was no order and none of my items in the truck at all. Although I got a tracking link and information from IKEA that my order will be delivered today from 12:30 to 15:30, and didn't get any cancellation prove. So in the end we agreed that the click and collect will be picked up. Even though we found a solution, I find it completely unprofessional from IKEA's side, from the driver's side or carriers side, and from the customer service side, as I did not receive any notification that my order will not be delivered today. The driver was at my address, but didn't call and just left. I find service very unprofessional which led to lost day for me!
