As I had a recent back injury I opted for the delivery to floor for my KIVIK sofa which was an extra service. When the delivery people came, they took the boxes out of the truck carried two small packages to the floor and left the third big one on the ground level. Prior to my order I did the necessary measurements and I was 100% sure all of the pieces would easily fit in, that's why I ordered it. The delivery people didn't even try to fit it in. They just left and said it won't it in. I tried to tell them I did the measurements and I was sure it would fit they said they have a lot of experience and they do not need to try it. Because the box was blocking the entrance of both my apartment and my downstairs neighbor we had to take it up ourselves. Contrary to what the delivery people claimed, the box did fit and it was possible to move it to my floor without taking apart, and I have photos proving this. Now because of this incident, my back injury which was already bad is worse and I can't kneel. I am furious about the quality of service I received. I wouldn't have ordered from Ikea if there wasn't delivery to floor.
