I purchased an exterior cabinet recently. I requested to reschedule my delivery to a location near to me and the customer service agent confirmed it wasn’t a problem and gave me another date for delivery. Meantime I got a call/message to say it was ready for pick up on the original scheduled date. I called IKEA again and after 40 mins got through to another agent who informed me that the information provided by the first agent was incorrect. As a result my order was cancelled immediately and a refund scheduled with 14 days. That meant I would have to reorder the unit and pay for it again, and schedule another day for delivery. It reflects inadequate customer service training, inefficient service and I asked for my complaint to be registers with a manager. I have t got any contact from IKEA or response. Terrible service and care to customers.
