Worst hotel stay ever, then even worse customer service (in fact non existent)Booked to stay in Crowne Plaza, Times Square for New Year (28/12 to 3/1). Hotel was good until we realised that the room heating wasn’t giving any heat, also shower and bath didn’t give hot water. A few calls to housekeeping etc and a couple of engineer visits later, no change.On New Year’s Eve, I had had enough, range for hotel Manager who after 15 minutes on phone offered me $40 per night refund, I said as I had paid nearly $5,500 for my stay that was unacceptable, in the meantime they agreed for us to change rooms. So 10pm New Years Eve we rushed around and we were packed in 30 minutes to then get a call to say no room change as other room had no heating or hot water. I tried numerous other hotels locally, who were all full - to be expected at New Year in Times Square (because we stayed the duration, credit card company can’t / won’t assist).I have called customer service 3 times, 30-40 minutes of my life wasted each time, never received a call or email back. So I emailed their CEO, amazingly nothing back from him either.Looks like poor service from the top down. I plan to send a letter by snail mail, recorded delivery and if nothing by the end of next week, time for a small claims court claim I think.ChrisSoon to be ex customer
