I need help, and no one at Hewlett Packard will help me. I ordered a desktop--H361316211--on November 18, 2024, at 10:55 PST. I know the exact time because I downloaded the transcript--conversation 8536564.That desktop is going to the wrong address and my name is not the customer name, which plays an important part. I contacted support multiple times on Nov 18th, the first time as soon as I got the receipt and saw the mistake. Each time I had to explain that I was not (customer name on receipt), that I was ordering FOR (customer name on receipt) and that I was the customer. On that first phone call, I suggested that we cancel the order, and I would reorder because I wanted the computer. I was told HP didn't need to do that and the CS rep would fix it. He was unable to fix it. I was then transferred multiple times, and given different phone numbers to call. Each time I spoke with a human, I said to cancel the order, and I'd reorder because I wanted the computer for my 86-year-old stepfather who is in an assisted living care center. I now have three different receipts showing different wrong addresses, and a shipping notification showing the wrong address. During the last attempt to correct the shipping address, I once again said to cancel the order, and I'd reorder, because I wanted the computer. I was told no, because the hour time-frame given to cancel new orders was up. HP reps kept me on the phone for more than 90 mins, refused to let me cancel and reorder, and never fixed the shipping address. This last CS rep told me that she was reaching out to a manager and someone would contact me within 24-48 hours. No one contacted me.I even reached out to FedEx and was told they couldn't help me because only the shipper can fix the address.I was left with no recourse but to dispute the purchase with my credit card under fraud. This is a clear case of fraud because HP has been told repeatedly the shipping address is wrong and refuses to fix it. During the chat ordering, I gave the rep the correct address and asked multiple times if the computer could be delivered because it was going to a retirement center. I even double-checked the address before agreeing to order.I have three email receipts with three wrong shipping addresses. I can go on HP.com to see the shipping info, it's still wrong along with the customer name. I'm now watching the tracking for the shipping going to the wrong address. It's supposed to be delivered today. To an address that doesn't exist in rural (city,) NV. Let me be clear here, I would have NEVER ordered from HPE had I known the nightmare of ignorance and unprofessionalism that would follow. How hard is it to correct a shipping address? Whatever program HP is running in a foreign call center is a failure. All I want now is to cancel this computer order and order a computer for my step-father from another company, and no one at HP will help me.I am thoroughly disgusted with HP.
