On September 6, 2024, I booked and paid for 5 nights of accommodation at DDApartments in Cluj Napoca between August 6-11, 2025, non-refundablereservation and confirmed by hotels.com with number 72058151884795.On January 21, 2025, I contacted the property to be sure that thereservation is in order and to find out details about the check-in andcheckout procedure. The conversation took place through the chat from thehotels.com application. The property informed me that I do not have andhave never had a reservation, citing that the location is closed and thatthis was also communicated to hotels.comOn the same day, January 21, 2025, I contacted hotels.com via chat. Here Icommunicated the problem encountered and they promised me that I would becontacted to solve the problem within 72 hours.Today, January 22, 2025, I received a message from them that the reservationis canceled and they refunded the amount I paid.To reserve a room at this time for that period I would have to pay 5 times the price originally paid. hotels.com refuses to relocate me and grudgingly offers me a €25 voucher. Most pathetic service received in my entire life. They lied to me that I have a reservation, they send me the accommodation voucher and when I inform them that this reservation does not exist, they wash their hands and tell me that the reservation is cancelled.
