Extremely Disappointed – $1500 StolenI prepaid $1500 for 4 nights at Home2 Suites Jekyll Island through Hotels.com. Due to an employee leaving my company, I couldn’t use the room the first night but arrived the next afternoon. The hotel had already given away the room and refused any refund—even though they likely resold it.Hotels.com offered no real support and wanted to charge me more to change dates. I ended up paying another $500 at a different hotel. This experience was unethical and inflexible. Both the hotel and Hotels.com profited twice off one room and left me out in the cold.Never again. Kayla was terrible at the front desk. She didn't offer anything. Just recited their policy over and over again.
