I seem to have had the same experience with Hootsuite as everyone else on Trustpilot. I signed up for the free trial period and opted to pay for the monthly subscription, yet Hootsuite attempted to take an enormous 'annual fee' out of my bank account. Fortunately, my bank stopped the transaction and blocked all future payments to them (at the inconvenience of replacing my bank card). I've raised a complaint with Hootsuite's chat agent (who I think is just a chatbot and not a real person), and they said they'd contact me to resolve the problem (it's been a full day, and I've received nothing from them). There is no customer service number, and no other way to get in touch with Hootsuite - and it seems as though the vast majority of people who sign up are having the same problem. I've also tried to cancel/delete my account to no avail.
