I was sold GoDaddy’s Website + Marketing plan despite clearly outlining my technical requirements — including plugin support, custom code, and advanced SEO tools. None of these were supported by the product I was given.After discovering this (during active development), I raised the issue through multiple support channels. What followed was a frustrating cycle of scripted apologies, delays, and repeated escalations — with no resolution.Even after clearly stating my case and requesting a fair outcome (a year of WordPress hosting at no cost and access to the original plan until the end of term), I was met with deflection and vague responses. Their customer service has been appalling.I’ve now moved to a more transparent and capable provider and am pursuing a full refund and compensation for lost revenue. If you value your time, money, or sanity — look elsewhere.
