The Golden Train scenery is certainly spectacular; we were very lucky to have a sunny day as we were told that the usual low clouds and mist can reduce the experience. The narrator was excellent. The train carriages are very 'old school', thus adding to the nostalgia. If you are a couple or family, you need to be at the train at least 30 minutes before departure if you want a chance of sitting together.
