Extremely Disappointed in FAA

Extremely disappointed in FAA. I placed an order for a print on 2/10. The artist is a friend and I liked the painting and wanted to support him. The order form said the print would ship on 2/12. That was the first point of misinformation. After a month, I reached out to FAA to inquire about the order and after a few days they replied everything was delayed due to Covid and that they did not have any dates of anticipated delivery to share. They did say updates would be put on their website- this never happened. After another month of no communication, I emailed a request for update and after 5 days received this response, "Hi Robert,Following up on this order 2045xxx.I'm sorry to inform you that we've had to cancel your recent order with FineArtAmerica. Unfortunately, the images did not save to the order correctly. They are showing as corrupt. Please try placing a new order. We have refunded the entire purchase price ($CAD -$xxx.xx) back to your credit card. You should see it appear within the next 24 - 48 hours.I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, Jovie"Not sure how the images were corrupt since I ordered directly from their website. Needless to say, extremely disappointing experience throughout the entire process to learn after 9 weeks that I've gotten nowhere. The interesting thing is now I get spammed with their promos to order, order, order. Why should I if they can't fulfill my original request? Hopefully my friend the painter will help me acquire the print from another source. Stay Away!
