Absolutely appalling “service”

Absolutely appalling. I can’t be the only person who works for a living right? So why do FedEx only attempt delivery during office hours while I’m at work??? So after the first failed delivery attempt I requested for my parcel to be delivered to my neighbour’s alleyway but I didn’t know that they now lock the gate so there is no access. When the second delivery attempt failed I followed the link to rearrange delivery again and received a message saying “Too many requests made for this shipment, please call 02476706695. I called the number, nothing-it doesn’t even ring. Went on the website and requested redelivery via the virtual assistant, the assistant couldn’t assist me so I was placed in a queue to speak to a customer service assistant. After about half an hour I reached the front of the queue and was redirected back to the virtual assistant again. After googling FedEx customer service I found another number. I called, went through the options menu and eventually was told the only way I could arrange a delivery to another address was if I contacted the sender. There is no email address for FedEx. In order to contact them you need to go through the virtual assistant on their website who places you in a queue to speak to a customer service assistant and when you reach the front of the queue you get redirected back to the virtual assistant. Amazing! So there will be a final delivery attempt tomorrow while I’m at work and then the package will be returned to sender. Brilliant, thanks a lot FedEx 🤣🤡🃏
