If the app didn't redirect to website in this instance and booking could have been completed using only app this may have been easier. Biggest issue of all is Expedia participating in rewards/promotions that they then have issues honouring, despite meeting terms and conditions. Despite resubmitting cashback request (originally submitted with evidence n proof of purchase) Expedia have once again failed to deliver after over 6 months. Customer service at Top cashback have confirmed the issue lies with Expedia too, so no confusion or misinformation here. I think it's disgusting, as cashback may have influenced my decision. Why sign up to participate if you then don't want to honour? Completely unacceptable, and unexpected from such a large company.
