I bought a package which includes Air+Car+Hotel two months before my travel date. Our flight was delayed due to dust storm in Chicago area. When we arrived at Atlanta it was late almost passed midnight. When we arrived at the car rental counter at Alamo the representative told us they don’t have any more cars available because it is first come first serve basis even we had reservations almost two months ago. We took the Uber to go to hotel which cost me around $55 at that time of night. Then next day rented a car from Enterprise which cost $155. When asked for a refund Expedia said they need to contact Alamo. After 3 days now they are saying Alamo didn’t approve refund and that is why they cannot issue refund. This is nothing but a deliberate scam set up by Expedia. They are difficult to get hold of and no phone numbers to talk to live person to explain only via chat to some morons from India or somewhere in LaLa land. Expedia is a criminal enterprise and scammer. Do not buy from them, save your money.
