This is one of those “if i can give a lower rating, i would” type of reviews. I bought two tickets for this event happening on halloween, took place in NY, I live in NJ. Made the trip to arrive at the described location and right-on early. Get to the bouncer…..there was already another event happening? Apparently, the one i bought tickets for was cancelled… i got no such notification. Correction, i got an email 40 minutes before it was supposed to start. Obviously, this was a scam. Should’ve known bc my email was getting blown up by eventbrite. But i really didn’t think this app would even allow for such things but, ive learned the hard way. There needs to be more legislation regarding apps for event management and small businesses. It just seems like anyone can do anything these days. There needs to be accountability on the end of these apps and websites.
