The Economist is a great magazine but they make it so hard to cancel a subscription- awful user experience having to call up Singapore from New Zealand to cancel when you can simply begin a subscription online. Absolutely ridiculous in this day and age.The lady on the phone said my subscription would expire in October and my access would be cut off then. I had to ask for an immediate cancellation with a refund of the unused portion (which is what they’re currently processing), she did not offer this which is super under-handed and sneaky.
