We've been doing our best to build a successful online / ecom business in which most of our sales derive form eBay and marketplace. However, eBay policies hasn't made that process easy and we've learn a lot from trial and error our first year, and because of a few too many incidents, I've slowed things down with eBay and decided to diverse my efforts on other similar platforms. Here's the issue.Even with 47 items sold, 93% seller rating and 7 followers our first year, eBay seems to still side with the buyer in several incidents, although in this review I will address to incidents in particular.1. Buyer made an offer on a iPhone 15 pro (I believe it was $380) and instantly the buyer asked us to cancel the order. I mean within the same hour, I immediately tried to refund however eBay system was asking me to refund a portion of the payment using my bank card (instead of the system just sending the customer his money back as eBay had the funds on hold) as I attempted to refund my C.C was getting declined (not sure if it was my bank or ebay error) however I asked the customer to ask ebay to give them the refund in which ebay did. However I still had to pay seller fees and ad fees on the order, totaling over $100.2. A seller got a way with my item and a refund, even tho eBay told me they would release the funds in my favor if the buyer didn't return the item in its same condition upon us shipping.Long story short, the buyer had issues with shipping, I requested for the buyer to resend to correct address, they never responded to my messages. eBay sided with the buyer and as a result we are out of a iPhone 11, $100+ and our eBay seller account has yet another defect. Honestly, I think eBay needs to invest more money in there resolution / escalation department, currently seller moral isn't the highest which is why eBay has a rating of 1.2 stars on trustpilot.Essentially eBay allowed sellers to scam us and they have exorbitant seller fees, low performance fees...
