I purchased a built in cooker from EBay with the EBay money back guarantee. When it arrived it was badly dented in two places and the seller refused a refund as his site says “No Refunds”. As it was faulty, EBay said he had to refund me. I spoke to two different agents who guided me through the process and assured me that the cost of the oven and £60 courier charge would be refunded. I spent a week politely arguing my point with the seller who eventually agreed to refund the oven but not the courier delivery charge. I then had to wait another relève days before EBay would step in. They refunded the cost of the cooker but would not refund the £60 I had paid for a courier. This was because I had I arranged the courier and not the seller. BE WARNED! I was £60 out of pocket and had done nothing wrong. I was mislead by EBay on two phone calls about this. I am not happy even though I get the sickly “thank you for your 22 years of custom”from them every time I call. It was once a great site. Now over complicated and expensive.
