I paid for 1 year of Duolingo

I paid for 1 year of Duolingo a few weeks before the year was up I cancelled my subscription as I didn’t want to renew. Since then I have had adverts and have been knocked off as soon as I made a few mistakes as before I had paid the subscription. So I not happy that I haven’t received the whole year and can’t work out how to complain on the app. Any ideas anyone?
