I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online, identical except for size, both to be delivered to DSW's Arden Way store in Sacramento in Sept. 2023. One pair came in to the store, I tried it on there, determined that neither would fit me, so I returned the pair to the cashier & cancelled the whole order. The second pair never came in, as DSW has confirmed by email. But my credit card still shows a "pending charge" for one pair of the shoes in late Jan. 2024, despite the facts that I received nothing & have emailed them multiple times.
