Review of Qatar Airways;I had a flight scheduled on Qatar Airways from Rochester, NY to Vientiane, Laos on October 18, 2023. I called them on October 10 to cancel and have my ticket held for a flight later this year. On October 18, I received an email regarding my boarding pass, so I contacted Qatar Air to remind them of my call to cancel on Oct 10. I offered to give proof of my phone call but they stated they had a record of it on Oct 10 but couldn't give a credit since I called within two hours of the flight. They stated they would investigate further. After two follow up phone calls and two weeks later, they denied my claim. Despite having proof of my call they denied it, which I consider an unfair business practice and response. I lost $1740 in the process. I would never recommend this airline and their faulty customer service. JG
