I purchased a Google pixel 7 pro in Dec 2022 and have had issues with it for about 6 months. My charger port stopped working and now the phone heats up so bad I refuse to keep it iny pocket over fears of battery acid leaking from the phone. I spoke with customer service, who at first were great, they said over fears for safety we can replace the phone.. there was a catch..... Pay us another £1000, we will hold this and send you a new one then return the money once we receive the old one back or send it back and wait up to 5-6 weeks for authorization for a replacement. I was so upset as I have a medical condition which requires me to have a phone on me that can help people identify my condition if I'm ever found in need of medical attention. Google was blunt and told me to borrow a phone off someone 😟 I've paid them a huge amount of money for a phone that's faulty, how can they treat me this way, they should be bending over backwards to keep me as a future customer not treat me like crap. I've not raised an official complaint. Funny enough the customer service representative said I would be handling your complaints and I can tell you that we won't change our mind. How's that right? No independent complaints department. Such a con. When I'm finally able to, I'm going to go back to Samsung.
