The absolute WORST customer service. I bought a $50 gift card for my husband and he added it to his account. There’s a glitch when he tries to checkout so it cannot be used and any attempt to pay just bounces back to the checkout screen. Door dash support has told me multiple times & in 50 different ways that based on the terms and conditions gift cards are considered redeemed once added to the account despite never being used so they will not be able to help me by reclaiming and reissuing the code or pushing the order through on their end so it can be used. I’ve now spent $50 for a service we have not received and the company will do absolutely nothing about it 🤷🏾♀️ I was told that I need to have a credit card with an equal value to the order amount in order to use a gift card…makes zero logical sense and sounds a lot like theft + really unsavoury business practices to me! Even with a card included the order will not process and door dash will not help. Remember that this holiday season and do NOT spend your money with DD. Never had these issues with Uber Eats or SkipTheDishes
