***** Fraud Alert******I registered a domain with Domain.com last year and never used it. At the time of purchase, I made sure auto-renewal was not selected. However, they recently charged my credit card without my consent, even after I rejected the transaction through my bank. When I contacted their support team to request a refund, they refused, stating that “once renewed, a refund is not possible.” I reminded them that I never opted in for auto-renewal, to which they responded with an absurd justification — that auto-renewal is enabled by default to protect customers from losing their domain. In other words, they’ve given themselves the right to charge customers regardless of their settings or consent. To make matters worse, they also added extra charges for domain privacy and protection services — again, without my approval. There is no option to delete your account, so now I’m concerned that they will repeat this unauthorized charge again next year.⚠️ Please stay away from Domain.com. Their practices are deceptive and predatory. They make it difficult to cancel, avoid issuing refunds, and force services on you just to drain your wallet.
