I have been on the site since I was 13, 11 years ago. They once implemented a few features that users begged for, only after an incredibly popular artist persisted on it of course, but those days have long passed.Now they have absolutely destroyed their layout to be 'hip' with the new times, probably to compete with social media since people struggle to get any recognition on dA alone nowadays. Well, about that..I used to get a consistent 100-200 favorites per picture before the update. I submitted to tons of groups to make this happen and get myself out there since otherwise it's near impossible. Now? I have to google for groups since the layout is atrocious, and after submitting all my stuff, I get.. 10-20 favorites. Per picture.This update has ruined everything for me. I will be moving to instagram and twitter exclusively and I HIGHLY recommend every other artist do the same. If you have friends on dA, I get it, stay on dA. But if you want to make it as an artist, this 'artist-dedicated' website is not for you. They don't care about you. They don't care about your art. You're a drop of water in an ocean. We warned them that this change was horrible, but it's time to move on, and never return.Goodbye dA.
