I bought an item that was listed with 'free domestic shipping'. Throughout the checkout process the shipping was listed as 'N/A' until after I hit they pay button, when they added £3 for shipping. I am outraged that they would charge more than was agreed and only show this after you have clicked on the pay button. When I emailed them to complain, they said that it was the seller's fault because they 'chose not to buy shipping from depop', which obviously I had no way of knowing, and if this was the case the item shouldn't have been listed a free shipping. They say that they would not be able to refund the charge, essentially they are washing their hands of their apalling business practices and blaming the sellers instead.I had read poor reviews about them but was drawn to the concept of second-hand shopping for the benefits to the environment etc, so this was a trial run for me - needless to say I won't be using them again.
