I sold a Sezane sweater to a buyer with…

I sold a Sezane sweater to a buyer with no listings up of her own, and who appears to have made close to no other purchases on Depop before buying my listing. The listing was for an xxs Sezane gaspard cardigan sweater, and featured a photograph of the tag, and text description that the size was xxs. The sweater I sold was a sage green/blue color sweater. The buyer then said to me that she wanted a refund, as it didn't fit the way she thought it would, and accused me of damaging the item. The item was not damaged, it was still in excellent condition, and had never once been washed as it had only been worn once or twice. The listing accurately described the sweater, and the buyer never asked me to provide her with any additional information. I made her an offer that included a discount, and she accepted. I shipped next day. When I told her that I could not refund the item for fit and she was welcome to repop it and sell it herself, she disputed the transaction with Depop, and within the hour Depop summarily told me to refund the buyer for an "item not described" and included pictures she had sent of another random pink sweater which was not the sweater I sold with a diff measurement than the sweater I sold. So sellers should know that if a buyer wants to put in a bogus case against you to get their money back, all they have to do right now is send Depop pictures of them measuring your item against some other random item! And that's it - presto! They get their money back and you have to tell them if you even want your item back. I was given no chance to fight the dispute, and when I wrote in to ask them how they had come to their decision (which was rapid), they simply sent over a canned response about how this is how they do things now. I have purchased dozens of items on Depop in the last month alone. I have dozens of listings available for sale on Depop - I was worth so much more to Depop as a customer than this rando who has no listings and appears to have made no other purchases on Depop. I will certainly be thinking twice about buying anything on Depop now as they did not stand in my corner when someone took advantage of their policy. I have bought dozens of items too over the past year that didn't fit me as I thought, and I just repop them, because that's what you're supposed to do when something doesn't fit but the seller did include the size information. I have always acted like a good consumer and good person on this app, and then the first chance Depop got to sell me up the river for someone with little to no engagement on their app and disputing for a bogus reason and they took it. Be careful guys - Depop does not have your back as a seller.
