Dell Inspiron 11 3000 - As soon as I received it, it was problematic. It's so slow that some days I can't get any work done at all. Most of the time I can't watch videos and if I do, it has to be on low resolution to the point where I can't see basic details. It crashes all the time, at random my laptop just goes blank and if I didn't save my work, I lose all of it. When I contacted them they said I should have a white key code sticker on the bottom of the laptop but it doesn't. The reps told me it isn't normal and questioned where I purchased it. I got it from their official website. The bottom four corners had pieces that were glued with cheap slimey glue that slipped off, you can tell that the pieces were meant to be screwed in rather than glued on. They told me I would have to pay if the the beeping noise of the PC persists but offered to change my mother board for free once because my warrantee had expired. I waited a month or so, finally when he came the tech guy forgot the usb to add windows onto the new motherboard. He told me I wouldn't be able to use my PC, until a usb is mailed to me and I would need to install windows myself. He told me it could take weeks or months to receive and gave me the option to switch back to my original faulty motherboard. He said he also wasn't sure how many weeks or months it would take for them to reschedule another attempt to change the motherboard if I chose this option. I politely told him I couldn't be without a PC during the holidays because I have an important work deadline. He was angry and snapped for a moment then collected himself, I was already feeling uncomfortable and unsafe due to other behaviours of his and went out of my way to be very nice so he wouldn't get more angry. He reinstalled my original motherboard so I could have a PC to work on. Dell staff kindly reached out to me many times but I don't l feel comfortable with their tech support team in my home. The upgrade was only going to fix the LOUD beeping alarm like sound when I turn the laptop on but it wouldn't have addressed, the crashing every few minutes and how long it takes to start the laptop. The reps are very nice and patient. I read the bad reviews but desperately needed a new laptop, so it's entirely my fault. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase this laptop.
