Absolutely horrible service! All dell cares about is your money! Dell updated my computer over night. Upon trying to reopen my computer the next day, labtop claims it needs a bitlocker security key to allow access. I am a college student in my last semester of my bachelor program extremely swamped and stressed between school and work already. I purchased this labtop for school in hopes that dell would last me two years and help me obtain my degree. The last thing I need is my labtop I paid good money for to lock me out after a dell update.I continued to call dell where I received the absolute worst customer service of my life. I first talked to a tech support agent who was extremely rude, would not even talk about my computer or the problem and demanded an immediate $100 to even have a discussion on my concerns. I then asked to be transferred to customer service to explain what was going on and express my frustration. This person was even worse! Essentially told me he did not care about my problems or concerns and that I was to call tech support and pay $100!!!Finally with school counting down, class in 3 hours and re writing a paper for the second time on my phone due to dell locking me out of my computer, thus files. I decided to suck it up and pay $100 for a 2 year old labtop I had already purchased. After that I was suppose to be called with 30 mins- 2 hours. Almost 24 hours later they tell me order is complete with no resolution, no call, no email, no support!!!!I can not believe the absolutely horrible service dell provided and how much they truely don’t care about their customer and retained business.Hopefully I don’t fail this semester and ruin my chance of graduation in a few months and blow thousands of dollars due to dell. I will never purchase a dell product again and I strongly suggest every potential buyer to take this story into account when purchasing their labtop they want to trust to carry them through the degree they seek. - Very disappointed customerDell
