Poor customer service

Bought a H/P Envy desktop in 11/20 and it has a massive hardware failure in 6 days. Sent it back and got a Dell XPS 8940 at Costco in 12/20. The new Dell is a fantastic tower. Problem:. The power cable that came with the XPS acts like it is 5 years old. Have contacted Dell customer service 4 times and have gotten the biggest run around ever. Kind of like buying a new car.
