From 9th March (2 stars)I signed up years ago for the card (spend crypto in real time) free spodify, cash back and earn rates. I received my card and began using for a few days, then realized they sent me a Singapore Card (I am based in Australia per the verification docs.) Was getting charged exchange fees on every transaction (which cancelled out the cashback) and my spodify account got linked to Singapore which meant much of the music I was after I couldn't access. I tried sorting it out with them at the time and their support was completely useless - so assuming it was a scam I staked nothing new with them and soon as Cro stake was over withdrew it.Today I heard about an Apple cash back and decided to reach out to their support to see if they had sorted their crap out. The first chat was excellent (assuming it was a BOT but man was it fast and on point- hence the 2 stars) until I got to the question - how do I cancel my Singapore issued Card and get an Australian issued card, it popped me through to a "live support" person. 6 hours later still no response (promised a response in 2 hours) - nowhere in the app to make this change myself and far out their app is annoying with the constant pop ups. I will give it a day or so and see how it goes, but based on tonights experience and the reviews here - might give them another miss and keep my stuff on Nexo.Such a shame as these guys overall were really onto something great a few years ago, but their execution / service has really let them down - doesn't seem like its improved either.Edit 4th April. So after endless loops on the "chat" with sporadic "chats" coming through email, I decided to simply start emailing them. The goal was simply to get my Singapore issued card cancelled and for an Australian card to be issued, and then to purchase 5k AUD worth of CRO to take advantage of the $800 US Apple rebate which all needed to be done by 2nd April - almost a month so shoudlnt be a problem right. The bot I spoke to on the 9th of March assured me this would be simple, and also stated the Singapore card had been issued in error. Well at it turns out the bot didn't know the capacity of its human colleagues at Crypto.com I had the infuriating experience with MAVE, VALDA and KARA over a 3 week period- alll on the same email chain. I repeated my simple request multiple times to each of them. 2 1/2 weeks into it on the 28th March, I had a break through after VALDA seemed to finally understand the request, asking me to ID myself on the email, which I did and in return to "solve the issue" she then gave me a link to the card upgrade page on Cypto.com which was the same page that had started the whole thing in the first place. When I told then had to re-explain myself AGAIN - she almost instantly responded with " were pleased to advise we have approved your AUS card and it will be issued with 8-14 days" . Pretty happy with that result (despite the Apple offer finishing in 4 days) I logged into my Crypto.com account and noticed the card was still the same old card (Singapore card). There was no way in hell I was going to upgrade this card via the app - as again the currency is locked to SNG - I checked every few hours for the next 4 days for the card to refresh in the app (whilst also continuing to email them) when finally I had a response on the 3rd April. I had MAVE on the same email chain apologize as they have been "inundated" and again ask me to ID myself. I simply screen shot the same previous request (were I had been ID'ed and verified on the same email chain only days before) I then took the time to point out how lazy and incompetent she and her colleagues were (for not even bothering to read what the issue was). I did not hear back after that, I can only assume they are off addressing other legitimate issues with incompetence. Tonight I tried to remove the last $20 of CRO i had on their app from 3 years ago, and what do you know - "unable to process please contact support". Based on my experience with crypto.com over the last 3 years, and the broader industry not to mention the highly consistent feedback right here on Trust pilot regarding their lack of support and general dodgy behavior, and to boot it seems they cant even pulll off the scam when they have someone begging to give them 5k! I can NOW hand on heart say - do not touch these guys. They are not going to be around for much longer. If you have not already done so - check out Nexo (trust pilot over 4.8), great earn, excellent support, low fees - basically the polar opposite to crypto.com. They do have a card option also, but that is not available in Australia unfortunately. PS to Crypto.com - I can be a real pain in the ass so I will be first off dumping all of the cro in my other account, advising my network to do the same and raising a complaint with relevant local financial authorities - they love to stick there nose into that kind of stuff over here.
