Still waiting for meter to be activated 7months on.

I’ve had my smart meter installed last June have been waiting to have it activated. After a lot of complaints actually got a date for it to be activated 5Th January by EDF engineer. Was told the engineer would be in touch half an hour before they would arrive, given from 1 to 5pm.Got to 1pm just thought I’d check they were still coming ,I was told by Michelle he would be coming. Got to 3pm so I phoned again ,yes he’s definitely coming. So got to 4pm no show phoned again told someone would contact engineer heard nothing so I at 4.45 Michelle answered oh engineer won’t be coming.This is appalling as he was supposed to take reading as I’m disabled. I should have been told earlier they weren’t coming and no apology! waste of time certainly very disappointed to be let down once again .
