I have a Capital One credit card....i am a U.S. seaman who is out of the country most of each year....i have an issue with monthly payment and the only way to reach cap 1 customer service is by phone..... which traveling at sea or in port in different countries, I don't have phone calling abilities.... when I returned to the u.s. I called customer service bciz they have my old phone number that has not been in service for several years....i do not have a cell phone service contract bcuz I am not in country most of the time....I have needed to receive a two step security code to access my online account....it will not send to my prepaid u.s. phone I use when in the u.s...i.asked customer service if there was somewhere I could physically go to and resolve the issue of my identity? No was the answer and NO EMAIL available to cap 1..... How ridiculous is this? No email for customer service, so now after many years of perfect payment history I have 2 missed payments on my credit record.....this is the worst credit card....stay away from Cap 1
