I joined up to Calm's meditation app for around £6 a year a few years ago, it was definitely worth that price, and I really enjoyed their meditations and the addition of daily themes. Part way through the year they announced they were upping the price to around £50 for a year, and after I had not received a notification that my year's subscription was up, I was automatically moved to the new price. I complained (as obviously it's quite a price hike, even with all the new features which were really good), and their customer service was absolutely brilliant and I was given a free year's subscription for the confusion. I've stopped my subscription now, as I don't feel I can afford the new price, but I still enjoy their free version of the app from time to time and have moved on to more self-guided meditation.
