I made a reservation through Booking.com for Fancy Apartment by Train Station (Confirmation #4416662436), and completed the payment on May 31, 2025.The check-in was scheduled for June 3, and check-out for June 5. However, during my stay, I experienced a serious problem and immediately reported the issue to Booking.com, providing full documentation and proof.After multiple messages over 11 days, I received a disappointing response:they claimed they contacted the property but received no reply, and therefore could not offer any refund or compensation.This is unacceptable. I paid Booking.com, not the property directly.The platform should take full responsibility when a reservation goes wrong, especially when it handles the transaction itself.This experience has completely eroded my trust in Booking.com, and I will not use the platform again unless this matter is resolved.
