I have used the app quite frequently but will now either discontinue, decrease use, or delete it completely due to a potential identity theft problem. The app allows property owners to use WhatsApp numbers and emails to request information or payment in the messaging section. This is an invitation for identity theft (sending of id docs) or payment fraud. Booking has little or no personal customer service and relies of bots to police these issues. A better solution is not to allow email addresses or phone numbers in the app.
