In February I booked a room at the Galway Bay Hotel through Booking .Com. Completed the paperwork and paid the deposit. Had no confirmation - wrote to them return email informed that the booking had not been made and my deposit would be returned. From that date to this I have heard nothing from Booking.Com, but in conversation with American Express I discover they had taken £1500 from my account, for a room they said was not booked. All attempts to contact Booking.Com have f ailed.
