Booking.com have not helped at all

Booking.com have not help with my awful stay at all they now continue to ignore my message I’ve even rang too and they say they can’t do anything as it down to the apartment policy? And the apartment won’t reply to them either so no refund?? WHAT. So what is the point of booking.com??? I’ve asked serval time to take it further as I’ve been ignored by the apartment too. I’ve sent picture of this apartment how dirty and awful it was and the apartment has awful reviews looks nothing like the pictures and they just leave it up. It been 4 weeks since I’ve left
