My wife and I have been using Booking.com as platform to book guests. It has been working for a few months now until last Thursday when it cancelled 13 of our guests stays and refunded their money without giving us advance notice. When we called them they gave us four different excuses why they did this and blocked our booking days out. We are totally legitimate and have all our credentials and our Air BNB platform works great as does VRBO . We contacted Global News BC and they did a news story on TV regarding this problem. We aren’t the only ones having this problem as hosts, perhaps hundreds or thousands are having the same problem. Our Guest don’t know if they have a place to stay now. We have contacted each guest individually to try and sort this out, but cannot reach some of them as they are travelling from out of country. Booking.com is a nightmare, and we will be cancelling them as a platform to book stays.
