Canadian buying for my Dutch partner

I am in Canada, my partner is in the Netherlands, I've been using Bol to send him gifts. At first I was paying with my Mastercard, and then one day bol gave me a message that I couldn't use that card anymore that it was marked as fraudulent??? I contacted my bank and they said there was nothing wrong with my account or card or any fraudulent activity. Tried contacting customer service through chat as I can't call internationally and waited 6h!!!! I never got an agent. I started buying online gift cards to pat, which btw are more expensive than the actual value. Which was working but then some of them started disappearing. Tried contacting customer service again, never got an agent. I started paying with my second prepaid credit card which was going great, up until 2 days ago where I got a message saying the payment was unsuccessful due to a technical issue with my credit card company to try another method or try again later. I tried hours after hours and got the same message. Contacted my credit card company... guess what? They're systems are not down and there's no known technical issues at this time. Tried contacting customer service, no response. So then I decided fine, I'll get another gift card, as it told me to use a different method, it tells me I'm not allowed at this time to add a gift card to try again later or choose a different method of payment. We are now 72h later and I still can't pay with my credit card OR gift card which I paid for and can't have refunded. I have no email of issues with my account, online it says Bol has no system issues at this time, customer service is not responsive on chat... This is really frustrating and unacceptable.
