Poor Quality Items, Terrible Service

Since they have switched to being a 'platform', I advise you to really investigate before buying stuff from them. I had a terrible experience purchasing a cabinet that fell below European standards. When one of the wheels broke down, I filed a complaint; an employee on the phone told me that I could claim a warranty and gave me the impression that it was all sorted. A few weeks later, I received an email from the seller stating that I should have known that the cabinet was for lightweight items and that I shouldn't have overpressured it with heavy items. Bol.com asked me for a photo, which I no longer had, and did not take any responsibility. Then, there was another bad experience when I purchased an item that was too heavy to return via regular mail service, which cost me money, driving around and finding some business points that did not exist. The Bol.com employee promised me a gift card to compensate for at least the nuance, but I have never seen a compensation or gift card. On 14/05, I called customer service, and they could not do anything other than apologise and maintain their stance as a platform that mediates between seller and buyer. Additionally, on the call, I noted that the cupboard was advertised as capable of carrying up to 180 KG, while the advertiser stated in their email that it was not made for 'heavy weight'. Of course, now Bol.com used the argument of 'heavy weight' not being quantified as a reason to interfere.
