I purchased Bitdefender AntiVirus Plus on 3rd March 2025 by clicking on the PayPal link on the Bitdefender site and my Credit Card was charged.It is now apparent that Bitdefender have modified the PayPal link on their site to direct buyers not to PayPal but to Verifone.I feel sure this is not legal except possibly in Romania where the seller is based. PayPal are certainly aware of this and do not hesitate to refer all enquiries to the seller VERIFONE who ignore contacts. So two American companies are colluding to assist a Romanian one not having to pay a promised 30 day refund if I didn't like their software. PayPal does not protect one from scammers, they assist them! I have two "ticket" numbers from Bitdefender who will refund me ASAP. No doubt they will keep this up until the 30 days has passed.12 hours after submitting this review I received an email from PayPal to say my refund was on its way.This was 6 days after PayPal had refused my claim & closed the matter.
