I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what our last stay with your hotel in Palm Springs was like. It was far more than disappointing!! Our stay was unexpected and last minute so without research I booked this hotel. Knowing the name, I trusted we would have a decent stay. We had some time to kill so we thought we’d take that opportunity to relax at the pool. However, we were very dissatisfied with that! The pool area was not well kept up. The umbrellas were torn as well as chairs being broken or filthy, the pool itself was bug filled and dirty! And we had to request pool towels from the front desk- which was at the opposite end of the resort. We walked over to the vending area to get something to drink and a small snack while we waited. Just to find that their were no snack machines and the pop machines were either empty or damaged beyond a working state. AND only one of the ice machines in the whole building worked! We had a 1 year old with us for the day-but not the overnight stay. Not having something to snack on or something cool to drink did not go over well with him or us!!!Our room never cooled. We had the air set to 70. Throughout the night my husband and I awoke to put cool towels on our heads and necks just to cool us.At the time of checkout I couldn’t get anyone to come to the desk to give me a receipt. I knocked on the glass and waited for up to 10 minutes. Unfortunately I didn’t have any more time to wait as we were headed to the airport and had no more time to waste!
