Geek Squad subscription now weird

Best Buy/Geek Squad technicians are still great. However, the service itself has become very difficult to use. My latest experience was in buying 2 TVs from Best Buy. I could only get a full day window for delivery and installation, and could only get a 4 hour window til the morning of. You are not allowed to change or cancel at that point. The installers said they no longer have any control over their own schedules.After they left I realized I didn’t know how to do screen mirroring (with iPhone 16 and Google TV it turns out not to be obvious). I went on Best Buy to chat and was referred somehow to a paid service that said it would be a dollar, refundable, but was $46 and they couldn’t even help me. Fortunately I was able to get a refund. This process took about 3 hours. Then I finally got onto a chat with an Actual Best Buy person. The agent tried to be helpful but was not - she kept repeating same thing which didn’t work, and paid no attention to what I was telling her. She finally made an in home appointment which she called a “repair” and said I would have to pay.After several more hours I found a you tube video that helped me partially solve my problem so I called to cancel my appointment (48 hours in advance). The phone rep asked many irrelevant questions, over and over, and why was I cancelling: I finally said “It really is none of your business, please just cancel”. I almost felt like I was on the phone with a scammer. The whole experience with what was once a very good even if expensive subscription is now so hard to use I feel like they are phasing it out by making it so difficult and unpleasant to use.
