Don’t ever buy anything from Best Buy

I have never experienced as bad of customer care is what Best Buy has just delivered. The people there had absolutely zero care for me as a customer. My daughter had purchased a $300 espresso machine for me just over three weeks ago for my birthday and the machine had stop working. when I went into the store, They told me there’s absolutely nothing they could do for me and they gave me zero solutions to be able to solve the problem. A manager also informed me that the manufacturer would not be able to help me either since we didn’t have a receipt and they said there’s no way for me to get a receipt from them since my daughter paid with cash. after leaving the store extremely disappointed I decided to go back in and try and find some different managers or employee to see anyone might be familiar with the model and know how to fix it.. No one was and no one seemed to care.. I eventually suggested that we try to look up cash purchases for the day that my daughter had purchased it and they were reluctant to do so, but eventually they did and they were able to find the cash purchase for the date and time my daughter had bought the machine. at that point they would still not help me exchange it through Best Buy or help facilitate things with the manufacturer. even though it had only been three weeks, and they informed me if I wanted to pay an extra $50 that they Would, but only if I paid an extra $50 for a higher customer membership. None of the people there really cared about my experience and had any interest in helping. in the meanwhile my daughter was crying because she thought the $300 gift from a store, she wishes she never stepped foot in, was now money lost and waisted… She felt terrible about losing the receipt, and if it wasn’t for me being really persistent, they weren’t even going to attempt to help us.
