Worst Buy.

Over the years we have purchased multiple items from Best Buys in several different states. ( several TVs, $500 vacuums,inexpensive vacuums, Arlo cameras, mini refrig, Kindles,etc) Each "big purchase, we added the extended warranty with the understanding that AFTER the manufactures warranty ended, the Best Buy warranty would then cover the item for the # of years purchased. ie vacuum warranty with 4 year manufacture warranty plus purchased 3 year extended would give a 7 year coverage. Also with our previous vacuum, we were told do not need appointment, just bring the defective product in and it will be exchanged as long as any warranty is in place. So we have done this 2 previous times with vacuum cleaners. Well my current vacuum has bit the dust after 13 months. Expensive does not equate quality anymore. Apparently can't call into the store(no clear, understandable reason given.) You call a local # and get a call center with contact with a person with horrible Accent that is contentious and almost non-understandable. Now we are told that the extended warranty we paid for will run concurrently( at the same time as ) as manufacture warranty .(Not what we were told during purchase) Please someone tell me why I need to purchase extended if it runs out in the same amount of time. So when you find this out, and request a refund it is pro-rated.I guess customer buys a warranty to cover the warranty! Yep it covers "power surges" but my vacuum sits in closet, unused and not plugged in for 99.9% of the time. I am soo done with Worst Buy.
