We hired Henley Drywall and Painting to do work on our house due to the fact that BBB has this business rated as A+. The owner did shoddy work, demanded money we did not owe him, kept materials and a cabinet that belong to us and refused to finish the job. He conned us into signing contracts for work he was not qualified to do and then never did any of the work. He had no crew but brought in ex-cons and random people off the street that he had not vetted into our house. We lost over $6K to this company. We filed a complaint with the BBB and the contractor made NO effort to resolve the issue. And yet, despite all this the BBB decided to close our case saying the contractor had made a "good faith effort" to resolve our complaint. This could not be further from the truth. The contractor is a scam artist but BBB still has his business as A+. BBB says "start with trust" but there is no way consumers should trust BBB as a place to hire contractors. BBB is dishonest listing businesses that rip consumers off as A+ businesses.
